Eddy Current Theory Level I

Who Should Attend Eddy Current Level I Training?

Level I is designed for new NDT technicians, operators, engineers, quality professionals, students, and anyone looking to build a strong foundation in Eddy Current Testing. No previous ECT experience is required.

Level II is intended for experienced ECT operators, NDT technicians, engineers, and quality professionals who have completed Level I or already possess a solid understanding of Eddy Current Testing fundamentals. What Is Included with Registration?

Registration includes instructor-led training, course materials, hands-on exercises (when applicable), daily lunch and refreshments for in-person courses, and a certificate of completion for qualifying courses.

Is the Training ASNT-Compliant?

Yes. Our Eddy Current Theory courses are designed to meet and exceed the requirements of ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A. Participants receive comprehensive instruction that combines ASNT-aligned theory with hands-on laboratory exercises and practical applications using FOERSTER equipment.

How Much Does Training Cost?

Course pricing varies by program. Eddy Current Theory Level I and Level II training are $1,980 per participant, which includes course materials, laboratory exercises, lunch each day, and a certificate of completion.

Tom Lucci (40+ years of NDT experience) and Mike Joslin (20+ years of NDT experience) have supported manufacturers across a wide range of industries, combining technical expertise with practical application knowledge in Eddy Current Testing, Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL), and Magnetic Particle Testing. Their hands-on approach helps participants understand not just the theory behind NDT, but how to apply it confidently in real production environments.
